Studio You x Nike

Right now, girls’ enjoyment of PE drops by 30% from age 8 to 15. It’s time this changed.

Closing the gender activity gap takes teamwork

That's why, Studio You has partnered with Nike.

Together, we want to challenge the negative narratives some experience around PE and to help more girls aged 11-16 feel good about getting active.

By girls, for girls

Co-created with the girls it's made for.

From what activities they want to learn, to moods they want to feel, to the look and feel of the content and more: we’ve listened, learned and co-created with girls to create new video lessons that will get them moving and feeling good, no matter their mood.

Expanded disciplines

87% of girls who had a mostly negative experience with PE said they wished they had more say in what activities they did in PE, while 87% said they didn’t like the options in their usual PE lessons.

This partnership introduces new disciplines, like breathwork, meditation, mental fitness and strength, along with a fresh take on dance, fitness and yoga to complement existing lessons, all led by Nike Trainers.
